Manufacturing Sites
Each production site has manufacturing, warehousing and distribution
capabilities. All sites also contain quality assurance, analytical, process
control, research & development, formulation and textile application
laboratories. The latest in chemical analytical equipment is utilized by our
Ph.D led staff to assure our customers of consistent, first quality products.
Ethox Chemicals, LLC www.ethox.com

Located in Greenville, SC this site derives its name from the primary chemical
reaction performed at the facility, ethoxylation. The site produces specialty
surfactants for several end uses and allows all of the sites to be self
sufficient in surfactant supply. Man made fiber spin finishes and processing
aids are also formulated and direct marketed from the site to some of the
largest fiber producers in the world.
In addition to ethoxylated products, the facility manufactures propoxylated
materials, esters, amides and betaines. The toll production unit includes large
scale liquid blending capability for specialty formulating and private label
manufacuring.

Dooley Chemicals, LLC http://www.dooleychemicals.com/
Located in Chattanooga, TN this site is situated in the heart of the carpet
industry. In addition to servicing the carpet industry, Dooley manufactures and
markets assistants for all phases of textile wet processing. Major innovations
in the production of fleece fabrics, through the use of new generation napping
assistants, have made Dooley a world leader in nap assist technology. Millions
of pounds of fleece fabrics are napped every week using Dooley generated
napping assistants.
Breakthroughs in the wet processing of men's and women's hosiery have also been
achieved by research, development and field work by the Dooley staff.
Custom Synthesis, LLC http://www.customsynthesis.net/
Located just outside Anderson, SC this facility was developed at the request of
major fiber producers who wanted a facility in which they could be assured of
consistent, top quality toll manufacturing of their spin finish and lubricant
formulations.
In addition to large scale blending, high energy "Myers" mixing and drum
flaking, the site utilizes its pressure reaction capability to produce
components and raw materials for several chemical formulators. Through a
special agreement with the global enzyme manufacturer Genencor International,
Fibre Chemicals produces enzyme formulations for the desizing of starch, the
catalytic elimination of peroxide and the defibrillation of wool and
cellulosics.
